We are currently seeking a Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant for various projects throughout the Pittsburgh Area. Commuting to client locations around the Western Pennsylvania and Ohio Area is required.
In order to be considered for this position, we require that you are able to work in a demanding environment, and be capable of quickly learning new technologies. The ideal candidate is a senior DBA developer whose long-term goal is to become an integral part of the organization, and continue to learn and grow professionally.
Qualified candidates be self-starters with the following skills and experience:
- Strong background in SQL Server 2005, with proficiency in Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services, stored procedure development, and triggers
- Data Architecture, including design, development and implementation
- Data capacity planning
- Data modeling, data analysis and relational database design skills are must
- Design and develop Data mart / Data warehouse models
- Translate client user requirements into data flows, data mapping, and so on
- Design overall ETL processes and architecture
- Experience with clustering and VLDBs a plus
- Experience with PerformancePoint Server or ProClarity, and Business Scorecard Manager is preferred
- Microsoft Certified Architect: Database, MCTS in SQL Server 2005 Business Intelligence, or MCDBA desired
