A Business Process Consultant will be focused on the delivery, implementation and training of the Microsoft Dynamics GP and SL comprehensive business management software utilizing the Microsoft SQL database. These projects range from small implementation to large projects for small to mid-sized businesses. Consultants will be part of a project team that will be defined and organized according to specific skills and experience required for each implementation.
Qualified candidates will have work experience to enable them to perform the following:
- Train end users and technical staff on Microsoft Dynamics applications
- Manage customer relationships by meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- Analyze business processes to meet customer needs
- Project Management to include project scheduling, implementation, scope, and deliverables
- Configure, test, and deploy Microsoft Dynamics modules and supporting components.
- Provide functional and technical support to end users
- Deploy Dynamics customizations required to meet functional requirements
- Deploy integrations between Dynamics and other front and back office business applications
Successful individuals will be self-starters with the following attributes:
- Accounting Knowledge - Basic accounting, financial reports, HR/payroll processes, etc
- Technical Knowledge - Dynamics GP or SL, SQL server, Microsoft Office
- Training Ability – Conduct user training on complex systems
- Problem solving skills
- Customer service oriented
- Conscientiousness
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to travel up to 20% throughout US
Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or MIS
- 2+ years of accounting related experience
- Consulting background preferred
- Experience working with customer facing business functions
