Allin Interactive in Ft. Lauderdale has an opening for a Special Projects Technician.
The Special Projects Technician is responsible for designing ITV networks for implementation and building test systems for R&D of new solutions.
- Design network physical topology
- Create IP scheme
- Create network diagram
- Create security document
- Design network layout
- Design patch panel scheme
- Assist in creating a building list of materials
Building test systems.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems
- Install and configure Microsoft products (SQL, IIS, DHCP, DNS, ASP.NET, Active Directory)
- Install and configure proprietary software
- Configure and test switches and routers
- Configure and test digital encoders
- Install and configure peripherals
- Mount servers, digital encoders, switches, and UPSs in allocated locations
- Wire network equipment and cable management
- Integrate and test client's network with Allin's system
- Communicate and collaborate with client's staff (technical, management)
- Research and develop new solutions for proprietary system (hardware and software)
Completing post project duties.
- Create final documentation
- Collaborate with other departments on outstanding issues
- Meet with management to summarize installation

- Windows Operating Systems (2003)

- SQL ( SQL server 2000/2005, SQL reporting services)
- 802.1Q, ACLs, Subnetting
