A Microsoft .NET Application Developer is responsible for building dynamic applications, portals, and workflow solutions for clients utilizing the Microsoft .NET Framework and the latest in Microsoft server technologies. You will interact with clients to define system strategy, requirements and architecture and lead in the development process.
In order to be considered for this position, we require that you are able to work in a demanding environment, and be capable of quickly learning new technologies. The ideal candidate is a senior developer whose long-term goal is to become an integral part of the organization, and continue to learn and grow professionally.
Qualified candidates will have work experience that includes the following skill sets:
- VB.NET or C# programming languages
- .NET Framework - ASP.NET, Web Services, WSE
- SQL Server 2000 / 2005, Analysis Services, SQL Reporting Services
- Project methodologies such as test-driven development, Agile approaches, MSF
- Familiarity with SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services, Microsoft Content Management Server and BizTalk Server
Successful individuals will be self-starters with the following attributes:
- MCSD certification is optional with relevant experience
- Relevant Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of hands-on database development and design experience with an emphasis on the Microsoft development environment
- Solid consulting background and experience implementing complex technology solution projects
- Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal relations and team orientation
- High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Desire to pursue applicable professional development and certifications
- Demonstrated initiative and positive can-do attitude
