A Microsoft Application Specialist Senior Consultant is responsible for the installation, configuration, integration with and support of Microsoft Server products as well as specific third party applications used in the conjunction with Microsoft Server products.
In order to be considered for this position, we require that you are able to work in a demanding environment, and be capable of quickly learning new technologies, including Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 and Exchange 2007. The ideal candidate is a senior engineer whose long-term goal is to become an integral part of the organization, and continue to learn and grow professionally.
Qualified candidates will have work experience that includes proficiency in all of the following skill sets:
- Microsoft Exchange Server
- SharePoint
- OCS
- SQL Server
- IIS
- Mimosa NearPoint
- Active Directory
- Windows Server
Additional desired qualifications:
Successful individuals will be self-starters with the following attributes:
- Windows 2003 MCSE certification
- Relevant Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of hands-on networking experience with an emphasis on architecting complete Microsoft solutions
- Solid consulting background and experience implementing complex technology solution projects
- Strong business writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal relations and team orientation
- High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Desire to pursue applicable professional development and certifications
- Demonstrated initiative and positive can-do attitude
