Network Engines and Allin Deploy Next Generation Security Solution at SESCO
Companies Solve Failover and Security Challenges with NS6300 Security Appliances; New Infrastructure Gives SESCO's IT Staff Automated Management of Microsoft Applications and Peace of Mind

Canton, MA - August 1, 2005 - Network Engines, Inc. (NASDAQ-NENG) and Allin Corporation (OTCBB-ALLN), a leading Microsoft Gold Certified partner, today announced the successful deployment of a next-generation security solution at SESCO, LLC, including Network Engines NS6300 Security Appliances.

Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, SESCO is an electricity and natural gas trading company with offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The boutique firm is a combination of seasoned energy commodity experts and technology professionals that depend heavily on their IT infrastructure to serve its real-time trading operations. In order to meet the current and futurerequirements of their systems, SESCO hired Allin, to assess their current network infrastructure and help select new solutions.

After a thorough assessment, Allin recommended the deployment of Network Engines NS6300 Security Appliances, which allowed SESCO to replace its existing CISCO PIX that served as their perimeter firewall solution, as well as add more automated fault tolerance and failover capabilities to the IT infrastructure. Powered by Microsoft ISA Server 2004, theNS6300s not only addressed these needs, but also gave SESCO advanced protection for security threats occurring inside and outside the network perimeter.

Gene Meier, IT Director at SESCO, was very satisfied with the consulting project delivered by Allin, and the new benefits provided by the NS6300s. "Allin did a great job of quickly assessing our needs, and deploying solutions in a short amount of time that benefit both our corporate IT system and our users," he said. "In addition, our security and system failoverprocesses are now automated, giving our IT staff greater peace of mind. My team is now spending a lot less time on manual maintenance and more time on the strategic management and growth of our system infrastructures."

"Solution providers, such as Allin, have embraced Network Engines' ENGAGE program and are reaping the benefits of the NS appliance in solving customers' security concerns. The SESCO/Allin partnership is an ideal scenario to showcase the ease of use and ease of deployment features of Microsoft's ISA server delivered in a hardened appliance. By reducing implementation time and increasing a network's security posture, the NS appliance is delivering a flexible solution for enterprises of all sizes," said Channel Manager of Network Engines, Derek Cheung.
