Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, SESCO is an electricity and natural gas trading company with offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The boutique firm is a combination of seasoned energy commodity experts and technology professionals that depend heavily on their IT infrastructure to serve its real-time trading operations. After a thorough assessment, Allin recommended the deployment of Network Engines NS6300 Security Appliances, which allowed SESCO to replace its existing CISCO PIX that served as their perimeter firewall solution, as well as add more automated fault tolerance and failover capabilities to the IT infrastructure.
