Allin Expands Business Intelligence Presence by Hiring Veteran to Lead Northern California BI Practice

August 22, 2006

For Immediate Release

Pittsburgh, PA:  Allin Corporation (OTCBB: ALLN), a Microsoft Gold Certified technology consulting firm, announced that its Northern California office has hired Peter Gratzinger, a business intelligence industry veteran to lead their Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) practice.  When Microsoft first released what was then OLAP Services for SQL Server 7.0 in 1996, Peter already had significant enterprise experience with analytics, data architecture and reporting.  He has been using and evangelizing the growing Microsoft BI offering with skill and enthusiasm ever since.

Allin has been delivering BI solutions since 2000 on the SQL Server 2000 and Analysis Services Platform.  Allin saw a need to deliver higher level capabilities to their customers and joined the ProClarity Partner Network in 2000.  With Microsoft’s recent acquisition of ProClarity and upcoming launch of Microsoft PerformancePoint, Allin is strategically positioned to deliver the full suite of Microsoft BI products and solutions.  With Microsoft’s ProClarity® Analytics Platform, the leading analytic platform technology for the enterprise market, Allin leverages Microsoft ProClarity’s enterprise-class custom analytic applications platform to solve sophisticated business intelligence problems and improve business performance.

“Microsoft® Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 is a complete performance management application including business scorecarding, analytics and planning functionality.  This will enable our clients to more effectively plan and manage their businesses,” said Peter Gratzinger.  “PerformancePoint expands Microsoft’s BI products with a new focus on performance management solutions.  The market has been looking for a solution that blends these capabilities with the ease of use Microsoft has delivered for years.  With a single platform, we will now be able to provide Allin’s customers with business intelligence and performance management capabilities across all departments including finance, operations, sales, marketing and human resources using the familiar Microsoft Office environment.”

“We were very excited when we heard that Microsoft had acquired ProClarity.  We recognize the value ProClarity applications provide to our clients when dealing with advanced analytics,” said Mark Cabot, managing director of Allin Consulting in Northern California. “The integration with the rest of Microsoft’s solutions creates a very compelling and complete solution covering the front-end and the back-end and allowing our customers to draw the maximum value from business intelligence.”

“As one of our top partners in Northern California, we are excited to see Allin’s continued commitment to provide their customers with Business Intelligence solutions,” said Alex Payne, Group Product Manager, Office Business Applications, Microsoft Corporation of Microsoft.  “They have a proven track record of successfully implementing a variety of Microsoft technologies and we are exited to go to market with them.”

“Microsoft’s business intelligence offerings have reached a maturity; they have transformed BI to make it cost-effective and accessible to meet the needs of our enterprise and mid-market customers,” added Mark Cabot.  “It is a natural extension to the infrastructure, custom .NET, SharePoint and Dynamics solutions that we have successfully delivered for many years.”
