QuickStart:  SQL Server 2005 - Reporting Services

Do you own a copy of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005?  If so, did you know that  Reporting Services comes bundled with SQL Server?  Are you aware how this service can be used as a platform for report authoring, management and delivery?

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services enables organizations to transform valuable enterprise data into shared information for insightful, timely decisions at a lower total cost of ownership.  This new product, licensed as part of standard SQL Server 2005, is a comprehensive, server-based solution that enables the creation, management, and delivery of both traditional paper-oriented reports and interactive Web-based reports.

One of the biggest problems that Reporting Services solves is providing a simple means for organizations to deploy interactive and attractive reports to the Web and Web Services.

Objective:     To provide an introduction to Reporting Services and develop a pilot to exploit
the benefits of using this powerful tool in your organization for:

      • Report Authoring
      • Report Management
      • Report Delivery

Cost:             Contact your Allin Account Manager today for more information.
