For Immediate Release
Pittsburgh, PA: Allin Corporation (Pink Sheets:ALLN) announced that it has secured an agreement with MSC Cruises to install Allin’s DigiMix™ digital interactive television solution on the MSC Magnifica, the newest ship in MSC’s fleet scheduled to begin service in March, 2010.
“We are pleased to continue working with Allin Interactive,” stated Mr. Emilio La Scala, General Manager of MSC Cruisetech. “Allin provides a superior interactive television solution that has become an integral part of the passenger experience onboard our ships.”
“MSC Cruises has always been a valued client of Allin Interactive and we are pleased with their decision to expand the use of Allin ITV with the deployment on the Magnifica,” stated John Troutwine, Director of Business Development at Allin Interactive.
MSC Magnifica’s 3,689 passengers will be attended to by a crew of over 1,000. MSC boasts the most modern cruise fleet in the world, and Magnifica is no exception. The ship’s groundbreaking, technologically-advanced design not only includes a large number of private, sea-facing balconies, but also offers exceptional energy efficiency and environmental performance.
Weighing over 93,000 tons, Magnifica measures 963.9 ft long and 105.6 ft wide, and will offer a wide range of services and activities to its guests. The MSC Aurea Spa, specializing in Balinese massage, will provide a tranquil setting where passengers can relax and rejuvenate. For those who enjoy the sun, Magnifica will offer three pools including the “Magrodome” retractable sunroof-equipped pool. Active guests will be able to keep busy on the tennis and basketball courts, jogging track, and mini golf course.
Magnifica will provide innovative nightlife and entertainment as well. Guests will be able to choose from five distinct restaurants, including the Shanghai restaurant, and enjoy a cocktail in one of Magnifica’s many bars and lounges. Those who seek alternative amusement will enjoy the varied atmospheres of the Cyber Café and Cuba Lounge cigar lounge. Whether it’s seeing a show in the luxurious Royal Theatre, gambling in the Atlantic City Casino, or dancing the night away in the T32 Disco, Magnifica’s passengers are guaranteed to be entertained.
Allin ITV will support, enhance and add to MSC’s onboard amenities by providing on-demand, in-cabin entertainment for guests as well as providing “real time” onboard information and ship-to-cabin communication with 24-hours-per-day availability. The Allin system will also help MSC to promote port activities and excursions, onboard shopping, specialty dining, and onboard services such as room service and wine ordering.
